About Me

🫀 I’m a PhD-trained biomedical researcher with a strong foundation in nanoparticle research and cardiac immunology, currently completing a postdoctoral position in the U.S. and transitioning into data science.

👩🏼‍💻 Over the past 5+ years, I’ve led and contributed to interdisciplinary projects that integrated flow cytometry and CyTOF to uncover responses in disease. Along the way, I discovered a deep interest in data-driven problem solving and began building skills in Python, machine learning, and statistical modeling, especially using biomedical datasets like TCGA.

⛓️‍💥 I’m especially excited about opportunities at the intersection of life sciences and data science, where I can bring analytical rigor, domain knowledge, and curiosity to meaningful, real-world challenges.

🔁 Actively preparing to move back to Europe in 2026 and open to remote or hybrid roles in data science, bioinformatics, healthtech, or biotech.

💡 Let’s connect if you’re working on impactful data-driven projects in science, healthcare, or technology.

Projects

Experience

Postdoctoral Scientist - Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles, CA, US

September 2024 - Present

Applied high-dimensional flow cytometry and CyTOF to profile immune cell dynamics across tissues and time points, implementing advanced visualization and dimensionality-reduction methods (t-SNE, UMAP) to extract actionable insights for drug development. Led multi-phase projects and collaborations from design through execution, delivering presentations that translated complex single-cell datasets into clear conclusions for diverse audiences.

Research Associate II - Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles, CA, US

June 2021 - September 2024

Optimized liquid biopsy protocols to enhance the detection of nanoparticle-based cancer biomarkers, advancing an immune-capture platform for early-stage diagnostic assay development. Communicated findings and methodologies through technical reports and presentations to cross-functional teams and collaborators.
